met the girls for dinner and booze last friday. absolutely had to get out of the house after being cooped up for a week.

dinner at a random korean restaurant near boat quay was not bad, and not very expensive or crowded. with quite many korean customers, i think the food was quite authentic ba.there were starters to share, and the main course portions were very filling, and there was even dessert! =)


and then we went helipad. first time there, but i like the view from the rooftop. can hear the people screaming from the reverse bungee, can also see the starry night sky.



actually it was pretty much a normal chillout night for us to just slack, until that too-bad-for-them thing happened. i got a bit giddy cause i finished my drink too fast, but then i only came back and fell asleep almost straightaway, so no harm done.

i like meeting all my friends, so i'm happy there's 2 more gatherings coming up!

self-declared long weekend..

crystal jade steamboat with CDS girls on friday night, followed by dessert at liang seah's new kid on the block. nice and simple, hope the birthday girl enjoyed it too =)

cleaned the bed side of my room, took down curtains, and then got too hot to do anything else constructive. feels so lethargic to use my brain and limbs. hahaha

mum suggested sightseeing at chinatown, and we actually agreed. bought nothing but a few food items. at least we can say that we soaked up the red and vibrant CNY atmosphere.

thursday night~

the customer visit was totally uneventful that it was on the brink of boring. i didn't utter a single word the whole time, and all my supervisor mentioned was actually already written in our submitted document. main purpose really was just to show face, to show the amount of concern on the issue. -_-

OT till 730. siao eh. who asks auditors to come do a full accounts and process audit for 2 weeks before CNY? the worst thing was we only knew 1 day before they were due to arrive. as a result, there's a lot unprepared. everyone still in office today at 630, when we end work officially at 520.

happy to be on course tomorrow, even though i just realised there's some damn tough questions to submit. hopefully they conduct process audit tomorrow, so i can avoid fallout. hate to think of customer visit on monday, please just let me enjoy my long weekend first.

wondering whether am i suited for this job. bleah. hard to describe the feeling.

looking forward to meeting the girls tomorrow, and hopefully being able to do some successful shopping. haha

wednesday

dead tired. thank god it's only a 4 day week. but tomorrow includes a work trip to JB. hmmm, unsure what kind of shield to bring, and what kind of reason to arm myself with.

looking forward to meeting gen, and drama girls. even the weekend spring cleaning looks interesting compared to work.
